M&A Lawyer for Renewable Energy Transactions
Are you a top-tier expert in M&A, commercial contracts, and corporate law, seeking a dynamic role in the rapidly evolving field of renewable energy? Do you want to negotiate, advise on, and draft contracts in relation to acquisitions, divestments, partnerships, joint ventures and complex commercial contracts regarding wind and solar projects globally? Then perhaps you are our new colleague.
European Energy is a green energy company experiencing exponential growth. We develop, construct, and operate wind and solar PV projects globally and are at the forefront of the emerging green hydrogen/Power-to-X sector.
European Energy is a high growth company in a high growth sector. The company is growing +30% every year on all parameters, and especially on the divestment and acquisition front we are seeing exponential growth. European Energy is already one of the most active companies in Denmark on the M&A front, and we are scaling up our M&A activities even further in the years to come.
The legal department at European Energy consists of 15 lawyers. We are an international team with a solid skill set within corporate law, construction law, real property law, M&A, finance transactions, and commercial contracts. We advise the European Energy organization about all legal and contractual aspects related to the development, acquisition, financing, construction, and divestment of large scale wind and solar projects.
We are looking for a business-minded senior lawyer with significant experience in M&A (M&A real estate background is also relevant), commercial contracts, and corporate law at a high level and who can independently handle legal processes, contract negotiations, and major transactions. The right candidate will be working with sales and acquisition processes (M&A), commercial contracts as well as company and corporate law.
We offer an exciting and diverse workday in an international company, which is growing at a high pace. You will be part of a dynamic and professional environment, where you will get a central role in the machinery that makes our business model work. The role is an independent role with a lot of freedom and flexibility, competitive salary, and work-life balance.
European Energy is a Danish privately owned company founded in 2004. We operate from the development, construction, operation, and selling of wind- and photovoltaic (PV) farms on land, and offshore globally. Further, we work with developing future energy solutions, e.g. Power-to-X. Our goal is to become one of the largest contributors to the global transition to a fossil-free society.
We have more than 740 employees with 44 nationalities represented in 22 countries. We all work for our common goal: to be the most innovative partner within the green transition and to create The Power of Tomorrow, Today.
