We are looking for a new Patent Paralegal to join our highly skilled team of Patent Attorneys and Patent Paralegals.
Group Legal Patents Paralegal
Vestas’ Patents Department functions along the lines of an internal law firm supporting a variety of stakeholders, ensuring freedom to operate and protection of intellectual property rights.
The Patents Paralegal team consists currently of three employees and is characterised by high level of professionalism. The team lives the Vestas values: Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity and Passion which form the backbone for our culture of striving for world class.
Responsibilities
As a member of the patent paralegal team in Vestas’ Patents Department, your main responsibility is to support the patent attorneys in their overall objective to protect Vestas' IPR and ensure freedom to operate. You will be part of a small, efficient and dedicated team of patent paralegals.
You will be required to work with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility for case management.
You will support 2-3 patent attorneys on a daily basis; docketing correspondence, filing applications, meeting deadlines. You will be involved in all phases of the patenting process within a large corporation, and thus liaise with patent offices, patent agencies throughout the world, and Vestas inventors and specialists. There will also be non-patent related tasks that concern, for example, internal reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor in a European language
- Senior Patent Paralegal, DIFI II exam or the equivalent
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience from a similar position
- Fluent in English both orally and in writing
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with EPOline, ePCT, IPClient, and CMS. Vestas' patent management system is IPMS
