Are you interested in an international legal career with focus on offshore wind energy? Would you like to work in a team of highly skilled attorneys where you can develop your legal competences?
We are looking for a new Senior Legal Advisor to join our Legal & Risk department at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark. You will primarily focus on our Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and Technology departments.
Tasks & responsibilities
As our new Senior Legal Advisor, your main responsibilities will be to:
draft, negotiate and review complex commercial contracts related to our Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and Technology departments and provide legal advice to these departments develop and maintain contract templates provide legal training and contract/risk awareness to the company’s Global Supply Chain department handle disputes (excluding litigation) and settlements related to the above-mentioned contracts be a valuable legal sparring partner for the beforementioned departments and have an overarching commercial focus to ensure proper risk mitigation and contractual coverage and quality
Negotiations may take place outside Denmark and thus you must be flexible in relation to travelling.
Skills & experience
As a person, you are highly structured and cooperative with a high-stress tolerance. We expect that you have profound experience with drafting and negotiating complex commercial contracts in English, and that you have worked in a legal department in a large corporation and/or in a law firm for at least 3-5 years.
In addition, you:
have a relevant legal degree are solution-oriented and persistent have the ability to prioritise and focus on both quality and meeting deadlines have a strong commercial mindset and are interested in learning further about commercial and technical issues have very good negotiation and communication skills are fluent in English have strong interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a team with colleagues with different cultural and professional backgrounds
