You will report to the Vice President, Corporate Legal & IP, and work from Ambu’s headquarter in Ballerup and you will join a great team of six engaged and very motivated colleagues in the Corporate Legal department.
Subject-matter expert in Securities/Corporate Law
Ambu is a C25 company (amongst the 25 most traded stocks on OMX Copenhagen), and it is very important for Ambu to ensure compliance with securities legislation. Within the legal department, you will be the subject-matter expert (SME) and the primary responsible for this area. Your tasks will include evaluation and documentation of insider information, company announcements, trade lists, insider lists, and development and training of relevant stakeholders.

In addition, you will be the primary responsible for providing advice related to corporate and company law. Your tasks will include to set-up, manage and update corporate structures and related documentation and policies.
Solution-oriented candidate with a pragmatic approach
The ideal candidate for this position holds a master’s degree within law and has 2+ years of experience with legal counselling from a law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel.It is important that this experience has given you solid skills in applying law in practice, preferably including experience in working with securities legislation.
You thrive on handling a wide range of tasks and you manage to consistently deliver professional and constructive solutions on multiple projects simultaneously. As SME, you have excellent analytical skills and you know how to prioritize and meet deadlines and you have the ability to work effectively without losing sight of details and quality.
It is important that you are able to handle complex business structures, work methodically and thoroughly but at the same time solve and communicate advanced legal issues in a pragmatic, solution-oriented manner. You have business acumen and you have high integrity. This makes you able to interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Since we are a global company, you will be involved in cross-cultural collaboration, which means that you must be fluent in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

In addition to your SME role, you will also be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining contract templates and legal guidelines in collaboration with relevant stakeholders from the business
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, e.g. non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, consulting agreements
- Providing support to projects and initiatives
- Providing ad-hoc advice on various legal matters
