Come and join the Pharma Legal & Healthcare Compliance department in Global Legal & Compliance as a Senior Lawyer where you will play an important role in providing legal support to our pharmaceutical business.
As a Senior Lawyer within the Pharma Legal & Healthcare Compliance department, you will have a broad responsibility within many areas of the pharmaceutical legislation such as regulatory law, pharmacovigilance law, market access law, healthcare compliance and marketing compliance, just to mention a few. You will be trusted to influence and assess commercial business initiatives and provide legal advice to the business.
Your primary tasks will be:
You will work closely together with the rest of the dedicated lawyers and healthcare compliance specialists in the department, and founded on your skillset and experience you will be able to contribute to shaping your role and specific tasks. You will be based at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen.
Pharma Legal & Healthcare Compliance is part of Global Legal & Compliance in LEO Pharma. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ relevant work experience from a law firm, as inhouse counsel or from relevant public authorities, combined with:

The Position
As a Senior Lawyer within the Pharma Legal & Healthcare Compliance department, you will have a broad responsibility within many areas of the pharmaceutical legislation such as regulatory law, pharmacovigilance law, market access law, healthcare compliance and marketing compliance, just to mention a few. You will be trusted to influence and assess commercial business initiatives and provide legal advice to the business.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Proactive legal business partnering for key pharmaceutical products to our business and other supporting functions
- Providing legal advice within pharma legal areas, including the aspects of digitalization in go-to-market models
- Pharmaceutical marketing compliance review of promotional and non-promotional material
- Training of the business and other functions in relevant legislations
- Drafting of HCP/HCO/Patient Organization and Patient contracts as well as donations, grants and sponsorship contracts
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders and medical advisors
- Managing collaboration with external counsels and other external advisors

Your qualifications
The ideal candidate has at least 5 years’ relevant work experience from a law firm, as inhouse counsel or from relevant public authorities, combined with:
- A master’s degree in law (Cand.jur., Cand.merc.jur. or L.L.M.)
- Strong experience working with life science law
- Preferably experience working with pharmaceutical marketing compliance
- Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to collaborate within the team and across different functions
- The ability to positively contribute to the work environment
- A global mindset and fluent in English
