At GN Store Nord (GN), we lead major technology shifts with intelligent audio solutions. With your base in our HQ in Ballerup, you will join a team of highly skilled professionals in the Group Legal International team.
We are responsible for the legal aspects of GN’s global business with a focus on securing smooth and commercially minded support to our operations. This involves support to core functions such as R&D, Sales, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, HR and IT as well as ownership of a range of core compliance policies and related awareness activities. We advise on all legal aspects with the overall objective to secure quality and undisrupted business continuity that enables GN’s strategic objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Group Legal International, you will assist primarily the legal IPR function in our endeavors to provide support across all GN business areas.
Your closest co-workers will be our existing student assistant who currently handles the day-to-day management of our brand protection program and/or our internal trademark attorney as well as our Senior Group Legal Counsel, IPR. You will, however, also work with colleagues across the global business and with our service providers in the trademark and brand protection area.
As a part of a skilled and motivated team, you will be expected to take ownership of and manage a variety of tasks, which may be both legal, practical, and administrative in nature. These may include:

- Helping manage our online brand protection program, including
- monitoring of counterfeit inbox
- liaising with our service provider in the online brand protection space
- corresponding with and servicing colleagues across the globe, who report suspected IPR infringements
- assessing listings of suspicious online listings in relation to counterfeit, trademark and copyright abuse
- collecting product information and documentation as needed.
- Assisting in managing our domain name portfolio in cooperation with our external domain name service provider; as well as assisting colleagues in acquisition and renewal of domain names.
- Helping manage our customs recordals.
- Providing assistance to GN’s trademark attorney in managing our trademark portfolio, including by
- Scanning, filing and archiving documentation in our trademark database
- Reviewing and preparing documents for signing, notarization, and legalization
- corresponding with our external trademark agents in trademark “housekeeping” matters; and
- carrying out searches in connection with screening processes in relation to new product and service names.
What you will bring to the role
Your competences and core qualifications include that you work independently, enjoy taking on responsibility and have high drive. You are very organized, service-minded and able to manage multiple cases at the same time, and you have strong cross-functional communication and networking skills. Moreover, you:
- study in Denmark for a degree within law (e.g. stud.jur. or stud.HA.jur.)
- have an interest in intellectual property rights law and its practical application
- possess a keen interest in and understanding of business needs
- are fluent in English
