We are searching for a technical head in our project execution department in Brande (Denmark) for the role as a Program Director. The Program Director Onshore for Northern Europe will be responsible for project execution of all projects in the UK / Ireland and the Scandinavian countries. Our project execution is realizing contracts for windfarms that have been signed between SGRE and our customers. Typical contracts would include planning, manufacture, transport and installation up to final commissioning of wind turbines at the customers project site. You are managing a team of appx. 10 experienced project managers.

About the role
As Program Director you will be leading a team of Project Managers (PM). Their role is to execute the individual contracts with the aim to deliver a project on high safety standards, maximizing project profit and on schedule, accompanied with high level of customer satisfaction. You will, in cooperation with the commercial team, be responsible for the monthly forecast of project relevant changes, events and improvements to be incorporated.
You and your team will ensure accountability of all technical matters: e.g. Support of Sales in the SBA process, as well as adherence to project execution processes and deliverables from the start of the project execution until the Hand-over to Service
Your team will also be instrumental in driving and handling of any claimable events occurring in the lifetime of a project. Handling internal and external communication to respective stakeholders in that process is of importance
As one of the technical heads in Denmark, you will also be responsible for approving when needed, e.g. Investment Request, POs , signing various contracts etc. not necessarily directly related to the projects managed at the Brande office
A part of the role will be to contribute to develop our project management standards and methodologies
About you
The ideal candidate has successfully completed a technical university degree or an equivalent education in business management and / or other adequate technical degree.

About you
The ideal candidate has successfully completed a technical university degree or an equivalent education in business management and / or other adequate technical degree.
Additionally you preferably:
- have managed a multicultural team before
- have several years of professional experience in international Project Management and have developed a financial overall understanding in project execution
- have strong analytical skills combined the ability to communicate with relevant stakeholders
- have strong stakeholder management skills and can communicate across all organizational levels
- have a project management certification (PMI, IPMA, SGRE internal or equivalent)
