Randstad is looking for a modern, effective in-house lawyer to assist DBA’s and Bilbasen’s Legal Department, based in Copenhagen for a period of 6 months. It is possible to work part time - 25-30 hours per week.
The ideal candidate is passionate about working with a fast-paced business and advising on cutting-edge legal issues. The candidate should have experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and advising on various legal matters such as marketing, advertising and privacy.
• Working directly with the fast-paced DBA and Bilbasen business teams in Copenhagen and Aarhus and acting as their real-time legal advisor – while also doing operational legal work such as contracts, user-facing terms, etc.
• Working with business stakeholders to understand, structure, negotiate and close commercial agreements;
• Carrying out product reviews on the business’ web and mobile sites/apps;
• Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts for marketing, technology, advertising and other services;
• Providing legal support to the business on advertising, marketing, privacy, etc.
• Providing M&A and integration support;
• Independently coordinating with functional stakeholders, including Tax, Privacy, Information Security, Litigation, IP, and other internal, global teams;
Candidates must:
• Hold a degree of cand.jur or cand.merc.jur from a Danish university;
• Have at least 3-4 years of experience in e-commerce law and in negotiating commercial contracts;
• Have strong product review skills - ability to review and update websites/apps and new products/functionalities - working in close cooperation with the business;
• Have ability to issue-spot and advise on marketing, advertising and privacy issues;
• Have great business rapport building skills and strong business acumen – it is a high growth entrepreneurial business and we need a lawyer who can build strong relationships quickly and has the confidence to advise in real time (including remotely, as applicable).
Ideal candidates will:
• Have in-house legal experience or experience from a law firm;
• Have e-commerce business experience;
• Be flexible with the scope and variety of projects to be undertaken in this role (including supporting business units outside of Denmark);
• Be comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced culture, and have a practical, solutions-oriented focus.
