The IT/Tech law team within Maersk Legal provides global legal support to all business units in Maersk

The IT/Tech law team within Maersk Legal currently consists of two lawyers, but you will be part of a larger international department of
experienced, specialized and dynamic lawyers with a strong focus on knowledge-sharing and sparring. As part of the IT/Tech law team your main responsibilities will be to:
• Negotiate and advise on the full range of IT and Technology agreements, including drafting and reviewing such
• Create and maintain checklists, FAQs, templates and develop other legal work tool offerings for relevant stakeholders
• Educate, anchor, train and advice Contract/vendor managers, procurement officers, business stakeholders and other relevant stakeholders
Working in Maersk Legal will provide you with an excellent opportunity to establish a global network, and to get a broad insight into the
various business units of A.P Moller-Maersk A/S. You will further develop your skills within drafting and negotiating complex, high value international IT/Tech agreements.
The ideal candidate is a business orientated legal professional with an appropriate law degree (Cand.merc. (jur.), Cand.jur, Master in Laws or equivalent). You have previously negotiated and worked with various types of IT contracts and related IT law aspects, including Data
Protection/Privacy laws and you have a good understanding of both the technical and financial dynamics of IT outsourcing, IT development, IT services, licensing, support, XaaS and operations, and you already have some years of experience from a similar position.
As we pride ourselves on our ability to operationalize and present legal issues to non-legal colleagues, hence the right candidate will thus have:
• A proven track record of doing the same
• As you will work with colleagues from just about anywhere in the world, fluency in English is a prerequisite
• Further, you should be self-confident when working with people from various cultures, work functions and hierarchical levels
• On a personal level you are curious, persistent and you possess strong analytical skills and thrive in a multi
stakeholder environment.
