FLC’s subcontract / supply chain is increasing and requires hands-on management in collaboration with the internal execution teams. Reporting directly to the Contract Director and/or Contract Manager, the role is therefore cross functional and is permanently based on site, in Rødby, Denmark, with occasional days in the Copenhagen office.
A key function of the role is ensuring obligations under the Subcontract / Supply agreements are met in a timely and efficient manner.
The project is evolving and therefore managing change is a crucial role, from identification through to administration. You are expected to demonstrate past experience dealing with change.

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Main responsibilites:
- Participation in the daily management of the Contract, through tasks as directed by the Senior Contract Personnel. You are expected to build relationships with the execution teams and perform tasks as required and requested which will typically include the monitoring and gathering of specific necessary information relative to the given task related to the Main Contract and/or Subcontractors. Furthermore:
- Day-to-day management of Subcontractors / Suppliers, incl.
- Contract awareness – including training of internal stakeholders
- Offering contract advice to execution teams,
- Correspondence management,
- Maintaining contractual records including minutes of meetings, information sheets, status reports and other documents in view of potential claims procedures,
- Submission of Contract Notices to ensure protection of FLC’s rights,
- Assessing and preparing future claims’ submissions,
- Active participation in change management,
- Active participation in interfaces management,
- Monitor & ensure obligations are met.
Personal qualifications:
- Ideally you have Quantity Surveying experience and have gained minimum +6 years exposure to construction or infrastructure projects in the construction industry.
- Possess a basic knowledge of international construction contracts such as FIDIC Conditions of Contract, together with experience of AB18 Suite of Contracts.
- An excellent written and oral communication skill in English language is requested. Candidates with excellent Danish language skills are preferred, but not necessary.
- To ensure success, you will need to be flexible, quick to adapt, with a desire to learn through experience in an international project.
