We are looking for a Legal Counsel for our Commercial and Legal Services team who will contribute to this growth.
With direct reference to our Head of Legal Sales, you will become a part of the Legal Sales team, which is a smaller team within our Commercial & Legal Services in Kamstrup. Together we ensure that we deliver the best offers and contracts. As our new Legal Counsel, you will have a broad contact range both within and outside the organisation, and you will work closely with the other teams in Commercial and Legal Services, including Bid Management. As the role is new, you will have a strong influence on and opportunity to develop the position and the legal function in Kamstrup.
Legal Counsel with business understanding
In the newly established position as Legal Counsel, you will support our divisions in their sales work, including the bid management process. You will have a big independent responsibility for ensuring that a contractual basis is created, and that this reflects the commercial agreements.
More specifically, your work tasks will be:

Personality matters
You have a professional background as cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur., and you are possibly qualified as an Attorney-at-law.
Furthermore, it is a requirement that you:
As a person, you have a strong drive, and you work proactively in a structured and result-oriented manner with your tasks. You can work under pressure with urgent tasks. You are good at maintaining an overview and at independently prioritising and using your time efficiently. As you will have a broad contact range, it is important that you are extroverted and possess strong communicative skills, which enable you to work across the organisation and build relations.
You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and oral.

Legal Counsel with business understanding
In the newly established position as Legal Counsel, you will support our divisions in their sales work, including the bid management process. You will have a big independent responsibility for ensuring that a contractual basis is created, and that this reflects the commercial agreements.
More specifically, your work tasks will be:
- Negotiating and drawing up big international contracts
- Supporting Kamstrup’s divisions by organising and implementing bidding processes nationally and internationally
- Risk management through the use of contracts and a good understanding of contract lifecycle management
- Educating and training employees in relevant legal topics
- General handling and structuring of diverse legal tasks and topics relevant for the divisions
- Coordinating and managing external lawyers in Denmark and abroad
In this job, you can expect around 10-15 travel days per year.
Personality matters
You have a professional background as cand.jur. or cand.merc.jur., and you are possibly qualified as an Attorney-at-law.
Furthermore, it is a requirement that you:
- Have at least 3 years of experience, either from a law firm or as a corporate legal counsel
- Possess good competences within contract law and contract management
- Have experience or interest in negotiating contracts, especially with an international perspective
- Have a strong interest and skills in understanding business and Kamstrup’s product- and service offers
