Therefore, we are looking for a new Legal Counsel to strengthen our Commercial and Legal Services team.
Commercial and Legal Services enables Kamstrup to navigate commercial and legal risks and opportunities, while supporting the company in achieving its strategic objectives. We are committed to acting as value creators by delivering commercially relevant, experienced, and customized services in a timely manner; we help the business to move forward.
With direct reference to our Head of Legal Operations, you will become a part of our team, consisting of 20 highly skilled legal and technical professionals with competences within legal advisory, compliance, contract- risk- and bid management as well as IP. Within this cross-functional department, you will be part of a dedicated Legal Operations team characterized by a positive and informal tone as sparring is a natural of our everyday work.
A job with strong focus on Legal Services towards our Supply Chain
In the position as Legal Counsel, you will provide targeted legal services towards our Supply Chain and you will drive the contract lifecycle management, including negotiation, drafting, reviewing and dispute resolution.
Your legal service responsibilities include:
Personality matters
We are looking for commercial savvy legal counsel with a Master of Law degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an international industrial company and/or an international commercial law firm. It is essential you have a strong knowledge of commercial contracts including digital solutions and risk management. You have excellent communication skills, possess a sense of urgency, and have a problem-solving – can-do mindset with demonstrated ability to simplify complex situations.
As a person, you are engaging and your positive attitude towards your work and your colleagues enables you to create strong relationships across the organization. Furthermore, you thrive in a role where you collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders and are able to adjust your communication to the situation. You are passionate about your profession, which results in high-quality counseling.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English and Danish – both orally and written.

- Support of the business colleagues with complex contract reviews and negotiations and provide tangible and hands-on legal advice on strategic commercial initiatives
- Development of practice-oriented solutions to minimize legal risks and initiate improvements
- Advice on claims and conflicts, and consequently handling phase-out of suppliers
- Awareness training of colleagues in the use of contracts and thereby ensuring a strong culture of contract lifecycle management
- Promote relevant legal tech tools to increase self-service and effective processes
