About the job
In LEO Pharma we have an exciting strategy to be the leaders in medical dermatology, and a strong pipeline, with products from early to late stage development.
You will be part of Global Strategic Pricing & Market Access (GPMA) and work cross-functionally within brand teams across multiple LEO Pharma products. The role is of high scientific importance, with a high degree of independence, and you will mainly work on clinical Phase 3 and Phase 4 data as well as Real World Evidence studies.
You will work in a group of senior biostatisticians with a large experience who can provide support and mentoring across the spectrum of statistical topics and deliverables.
Your key areas of responsibility will be:

Our new statistician needs to have strong analytical skills, good in communicating statistics to market access, medical affairs & commercial colleagues, a creative mind-set and able to multitask with several projects at the same time.

Your key areas of responsibility will be:
- Input to Statistical Analysis Plans and Clinical Study Reports in close collaboration with colleagues in Biometrics in Global Research & Development
- Development of Statistical Analysis Plan for payer submissions
- Analyses to generate evidence for pricing, health economic decision models, reimbursement negotiations. Data sources are randomized clinical trials (RCTs), prospective and retrospective non-interventional studies, surveys focusing on patient reported outcomes and health economic data.
- Responsible statistical methodology in clinical and health economic publications
Qualifications and experience
Our new statistician needs to have strong analytical skills, good in communicating statistics to market access, medical affairs & commercial colleagues, a creative mind-set and able to multitask with several projects at the same time.
We invite experienced statisticians at various seniority levels to apply. Salary and title will be according to experience. You should have:
- A minimum of MSc in statistics. Formal training in health economics or epidemiology is an advantage but not a requirement
- Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry or related consultancy services is an advantage but not a requirement
- Examples of contribution to peer-reviewed scientific publications from pharmaceutical, biotechnology or public health industry, or academia
- Experience in programming and working with SAS, R or similar statistical software
- Experience of working with quality of life and patient reported outcome data and/or causal inference in observational research is an advantage but not a requirement
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams, including proactive communication and collaboratively
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
You will report to the Director, Global Market Access Kyntheum, and be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, greater Copenhagen.
