We are busy here at PolyTech in Bramming, Denmark. Therefore, we are looking for a materials and process specialist to join our dedicated team in R&D Materials & Processes.

PolyTech is a supplier of solutions to the wind industry, focused on lightning protection systems, leading edge protection, blade add-ons, tower and transport solutions and a wide variety of other products.

We are specialized in polyurethane moulding of thermoset and elastomeric polyurethane and are looking for somebody who will be a key contributor to developing this technology even further.

Your job will be to ensure our position in the top league when it comes to polyurethane materials and processes. You will be working in a project organization and you are comfortable with having a wide contact sphere inside PolyTech as well as outside with suppliers and customers.

Typical tasks will be:

• To do project work in connection with developing new products and processes
• To clarify operational production requirements
• To search for and qualify new and existing materials and processes
• To analyse data to identify improvement opportunities
• To manage projects in relation to materials and processes

We expect that:

• You hold an engineering degree in chemistry, materials, mechanicals or similar
• You have deep knowledge of polyurethane or composite manufacturing processes
• You have deep knowledge of elastomeric or thermoset material
• You have knowledge in material testing and specification of tests
• You have strong analytical abilities and IT skills
• You speak, read and write English at a high level

To succeed in this job it is important that you like to work meticulously and systematically. Also, it should be a natural thing for you to search and develop new and existing materials and processes.

Besides polyurethane material, many of PolyTechs products are composites of many materials like glass or carbon fibres but also metals like copper, steel and aluminium.

PolyTech A/S also operates its own test centres in PolyTech Test & Validation A/S – a significant collaborator in your development work.

As a person, you are good at organizing and planning your own work. You will have a wide contact sphere, internally as well as externally. It is crucial that you like to work unassisted in a busy project organization.
