We are looking for a ChemicalProcess Engineer for our Business Area Wind, Offshore, Engineering. If you are interested in a job with a lot of potential and possibilities and want to be a part of an organization with special focus on Renewables, you may be the person we are looking for.
The Engineering department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards and guidelines as well as being embedded within our projects, both through the development and implementation phase as well as in operations.
You will be a part of the WTG System Engineering team within the Engineering department, working with colleagues located across various European locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Working with oil and grease analysis and co-ordination of tasks involved with different groups.
• Oil and grease validation tests, data analysis and able to convert it in to RCA’s, reports and/or conclusions.
• Acquiring oil and grease data, data cleaning and feeding it to the database in required format.
• Co-ordinate with cross functional teams in setting up lubrication database.
• Ad hoc support to Generation in lubrication tasks/analysis.
• Provide support to prepare, maintain and update instructions and related documentation for oil and grease analysis.
• Working with national and international standards in the mentioned areas.
• Evaluation of steel material structure and fatigue life of wind turbine drive train components.
Qualifications
• M.Sc. in Chemical (or) Process engineering.
• Interest and skills within data analysis from oil and grease data.
• Practical experience (internships /or Thesis or experience from another job) related to lubrication and steel materials is a plus
• Theoretical knowledge on Materials(steels and cast iron), oils, greases and chemistry involved.
• Good English language skills is mandatory.
• Good level of communication skills and able to listen, understand and analyze the data and convent in useful ways
Personal skills
You have a high degree of self-motivation with a flexible approach to work. You possess good interpersonal skills and you are a well-founded person with clear values. You have a “can do attitude” and have an innovative mindset. You are careful and aware of targets, quality standards, and have an analytical problem solving ability. You are able to work under time pressure, results oriented in your work and you are meeting required deadlines. You have good project management and project coordination skills.
