About the department

The Danish affiliate of Novo Nordisk has 75 employees and the office is based in Copenhagen, Ørestad. As CRA you will join a Clinical Research Team of 10 dynamic colleagues responsible for conducting high quality clinical trials in Denmark within several therapy areas in collaboration with the scientific community in Denmark.

The job

As a CRA at Novo Nordisk you can expect to deliver results that have direct impact on the successful completion of the clinical trial programme. Depending on your experience you will take leadership of site management; from site selection and initiation, through the conduct of the trial, to closing activities. You work in compliance with local regulations, ICH GCP and Novo Nordisk procedures to ensure high data quality and study subject protection. We expect you to start October 2019.

Qualifications

You have a university degree in life science (e.g. Pharmacist, Medicin med Industriel Specialisering or equivalent) and see this as your opportunity for first experiences with Pharma industry. Alternatively you already are an experienced monitor and work in accordance with ICH GCP methodology today.

You have excellent skills in communicating in Danish and English; you understand scientific medical terminology and will be able to understand a trial protocol and other trial documents as well as writing monitoring reports in English. You have knowledge of the drug development processes and preferably knowledge within the therapy area of diabetes, obesity and/or cardiovascular disease.

Driver’s license and willingness to frequent travels to visit trial sites for monitoring and to attend trainings/meetings (incl. overnight stay, inside and outside Denmark, when needed) is a prerequisite.
