Then we may have just the right job for you. We are looking for a Senior Event Adjudication Professional to join our Safety Operations Event Adjudication department.

About the department
The Event Adjudication department consists of 20 highly engaged team members from various academic backgrounds; who work in a fast-paced environment reflecting increasing demands from numerous long term clinical trials and regulatory authority requirements. In an increasing number of trials, certain clinical adverse events are required to be adjudicated. Event adjudication is a process where an independent review board of medical specialists assesses the relevant events for fulfilment of pre-defined clinical criteria.

The Event Adjudication department belongs to Safety Operations, one of the functional areas in Global Safety and the department is situated in Bagsværd.

The job
As a Senior Event Adjudication Professional you will be a driving factor between Safety Operations, different stakeholders in Global Development e.g. Medical & Science, Data Management & Trial Management and external service providers (CROs) dealing with event adjudication in selected clinical development projects. You will be involved in setting up and ensuring processes for event adjudication on clinical trials in close cooperation with the internal and external stakeholders.

Project management, process setup, on-going event tracking, process oversight, and creating and communicating reports are examples of what this dynamic role comprises of. Furthermore, the job will offer possibilities for improvement and standardisation tasks across the organisation. You will contribute to continuously improving the efficiency and compliance level of our processes ensuring that we are set for the future both in terms of growth and authority requirements. Finally, active contribution to an educational environment in the department and supervision of new colleagues is a must. The job may require some travel.

Qualifications
You have a Master’s degree, preferably within biomedical sciences (e.g. Medicine, Pharmacy, or Veterinary) or technological sciences (e.g. Engineering or Data Technology). You have experience with event adjudication, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and project management as well as experience with working with CROs. The job requires proficiency in English, and in addition that you have high communication-, coordination and planning capacities and a strong quality mind-set. You are highly skilled with MS Office and specifically high level of excel knowledge is required. Furthermore, you find it easy to master new IT systems and you are used to work with databases and reporting. You are proactive and like to work independently, as well as in a team. You have excellent cooperative skills and a high degree of flexibility. As a person you are open-minded, dynamic, and eager to learn new processes and have a positive attitude to challenges.
