In the role as Senior Test and Verification Engineer, you will be an important player in the innovation team and will participate in securing our ongoing dedication to quality products. You will be part of an effective innovation culture with a tradition for fast completion of projects, which means that there is a visible link between your results and Ambu’s growth.
We are depending on you to use your experience from similar positions to help us develop and to ensure that we can scale our professional area. This means that you will be our global Subject Matter Expert for design control for test and verification.
Your role as Subject Matter Expert in our new team
As Senior Test and Verification Engineer, you will participate in product development projects from early prototype development to launch of new products. In the projects, you will be responsible for defining the performance of and safety requirements for our products and find ways of testing them. Many of our test activities are either performed at our own manufacturing plants or at external test partners. It is therefore important that you can lead these test activities in a global setting.
In addition to this role, you will also have a Subject Matter Expert role for our Design Control, which means that you will drive our work in the area. You will be the go-to person and over time you will also be able to influence, develop and set the standards for the work in the department.. For example, we might expect that you to link new test methods in a global project organization to the Design Control and then guide the rest of the department in their work with this.
As a natural part of your work, you will also be responsible for documentation according to FDA and ISO standards.
Your background
Preferably, you hold a bachelor or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar engineering subjects. We expect you to have minimum 8 years of relevant experience with testing and that you also have experience within design control for medical devices.
Ambu is a fast-growing global company and therefore it is important that you thrive in a constantly changing organization and that you can manage test and verification activities in a global setup.
You will be part of a testing team that handles test within many different technical areas, e.g. electrical, software, image processing and mechanical testing. It is therefore an advantage if you have the willingness to learn about different technical disciplines.
As a person, you need to be highly analytical and be able to translate user needs as well as medical device standards into Ambu settings. It is important that you take ownership of your tasks and are well-structured and good at handling complexity while having a positive and constructive attitude.
It is a requirement that you can communicate on a high level in English both verbally and in writing. You also need to be prepared to travel approximately 10 days per year, primarily to our manufacturing site in Malaysia.
Ambu – a visionary and international workplace where your efforts matter
Ambu is a company that expands rapidly and has ambitious growth targets. We meet these targets through interdisciplinary teamwork among motivated and highly skilled employees.
