In Global Procurement you will get the opportunity to make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world.

The job


Your job is to ensure high quality and adequate supplies to LEO Pharma’s production sites in Denmark, Ireland, France and Italy. Your 2-300 MEUR spend in scope covers Raw Materials and API´s, Device, Packaging & CMO´s, CAPEX, MRO & Energy, Distribution and Logistics. You will head 4 teams and have the 4 Team Leaders in direct report

  • Develop, plan, implement, and maintain leading edge sourcing strategy and supply base
  • Ensure strategic alignment with production strategies and category plans
  • Lead, motivate and develop your 4 Team Leads – so they can do the same for their team members
  • Oversee and follow up on KPI’s, road maps, plans, deliveries etc.

Furthermore, you will participate in strategic high level negotiations, develop and maintain risk mitigation plans, and drive on-going optimization of processes, systems, and tools.
Your road to success will to a wide extent depend on skills as inspiring and motivating people manager in combination with your ability to build constructive and trust-based relations to stakeholders in the production, suppliers and partners.

Your qualifications


  • A Masters’ degree within supply chain or logistics
  • Solid procurement experience from pharma or similar highly regulated industry
  • Leadership experience from a transformation environment
  • Solid negotiation experience
  • Advanced understanding of pricing models and contracts terms

The ideal candidate is an experienced procurement professional who is very motivated by positive people leadership. As such, you see people management as a discipline of its own, and you are ready to add more tools to your already well-equipped leadership toolbox.
As part of this you know how to make people around you understand and embrace on-going changes in direction, priorities, processes etc.
On a personal level you are known for your open, trustworthy and fact based approach – you say what you do, and do what you say.

You will head approx. 20 procurement professionals in 4 teams at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen. The teams share an ambition of making results that matters the most. The environment is characterized by support, helpfulness and a good understanding of what sister teams are doing – we are ONE department and we succeed as such.
