With a background in NK cells and immunology and expertise in in vitro assays, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving biology in our partnered programs, which includes setting up relevant assays for proof-of-mechanism work and screening of candidates and delivery of opt-in biology package to our partners. The candidate will work closely together with the Biologics Lead, Alliance Manager, and cross-functional teams to drive the programs forward. The job will include guiding technicians and do own lab work to set up assays including culture of primary immune cells such as NK cells, T cells and fibroblasts, establishment of binding and killing assays, and measurements of relevant readouts by e.g. imaging, flow cytometry or Luminex. With reference line to Kresten Skak, head of inflammation, the position is an add-on to our Dragonfly biology team in Copenhagen, Denmark. Qualifications

  • Ph.D. degree in Immunology, Cell Biology or related area with a strong background in inflammatory, autoimmune and/or fibrotic diseases. Experience with NK cells is highly preferred.
  • At least 3-6 years of relevant experience post-PhD, preferably with drug discovery and target validation experience from biotech/pharma.
  • Hands-on experience with standard immunology techniques including primary cell isolation and culture, ELISA, cytotoxicity assays, cellular imaging and flow cytometry is required.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with members of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, provide scientific insight, and communicate clearly in writing and orally.
  • Excellent record keeping abilities to document analytical data generated in support of regulatory requirements.
  • A flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment in a fastgrowing start-up.
