How will you make an impact?
Being a key member of the Vertical Marketing team, together with Application Scientists and Market Development Managers, you will own the development and execution of global marketing programs using multi-channel go-to-market strategies for chromatography & mass spectrometry products, consumables, software, and workflows. Having the collaboration skills necessary to work within a broad team, across multiple businesses and departments, your marketing programs will excite and generate customer awareness of our products and capabilities, and actions will serve to shorten sales cycles, drive leads and increase revenues.

How will you make an impact?
Being a key member of the Vertical Marketing team, together with Application Scientists and Market Development Managers, you will own the development and execution of global marketing programs using multi-channel go-to-market strategies for chromatography & mass spectrometry products, consumables, software, and workflows. Having the collaboration skills necessary to work within a broad team, across multiple businesses and departments, your marketing programs will excite and generate customer awareness of our products and capabilities, and actions will serve to shorten sales cycles, drive leads and increase revenues.
What will you do?
- Create and develop marketing messaging, content, printed literature, digital marketing, social marketing and sales materials that communicate value directly to customers from Pharmaceutical and BioPharmaceutical industries of our chromatography & mass spectrometry instrumentation or workflows
- Support the development of annual marketing plans to meet strategic and commercial goals, updating plans quarterly based on market opportunity and channel performance
- Support regional marketing stakeholders with content and messaging for local deployment of campaigns and marketing strategies
- Ensure alignment and communication of marketing plans & actions with business unit, commercial, regional, and divisional marketing stakeholders
- Gather customer insights through structured Voice-of-Customer (VOC) initiatives
- Feedback market requirements to product management and product marketing to influence new product development
- Track, evaluate, interpret, and report market and competitor trends. Maintain relevant knowledge of competitive activities and develop effective countermeasures
- Manage KOLs and strategic collaborations for the development of marketing content for the Pharma & BioPharma segments.
- Support the creation and delivery of market-related sales training
- Provide routine updates of successes, failures, and best practices to improve overall marketing efficiency
Who will you work with?
This is a broad and matrixed role. You will be required to collaborate with, and influence, several globally-dispersed groups including:
- Vertical marketing leadership, application scientists, workflow product managers, and field market development managers
- Business unit Product Management & Marketing teams
- Divisional marketing stakeholders; including PR, media, Digital, marketing communications (MarCom) and marketing operations (MOPs)
- Regional marketing, commercial managers, business development managers and sales-support stakeholders
How will you be measured?
Success metrics for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Divisional sales to Pharma & BioPharma segment
- Market visibility growth
- Content generation
- Timely delivery of campaigns to budget, lead, opportunity and ROI expectations
How will you get here?
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in life or physical sciences. Higher degree or marketing qualification an advantage
Experience:
- Experience in a life science marketing, product marketing, sales-support, applications development or market development role. Marketing experience is an advantage
- Experience of analytical sciences for Pharmaceutical, BioPharmaceutical, or Bioprocess industries
- Experience of strategy, campaign, project planning or project management
- Excellent business acumen
- Ability to deliver creative and impactful messaging
- Willingness to network and collaborate proactively to forge business relationships and deliver projects
- Ability to prioritize workload and honor commitments
- Ability to align, influence, and gain cooperation without authority
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects in parallel
- Have the foresight to seek market opportunities, and deliver compelling reasonings why we should focus on these
- Ability to identify and communicate problems or impasses and propose resolutions
- Ability to communicate and field questions from colleagues and customers with confidence
- Willingness to learn and take feedback or coaching from peers and leaders, both in success and failure
- Enthusiasm to play an active, positive role in driving team success and cohesion
- Ability to travel 25%
- Ability to operate flexible working hours to accommodate teleconferences with colleagues or customers in Asia, Europe, and the Americas
