Student Assistants for Global Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Development

Then this is your chance to join our Global Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Development department. In Global Pharmacovigilance and Clinical Development you will be working with among others pharmacists, doctors, nurses, statisticians, human biologists etc., where we ensure patient safety by performing activities related to the detection, assessment, understanding and prevention of side effects of ALK products. The department is also responsible for planning, conducting and analysing clinical trials.

You will among other things be working with:

• Case handling of post-marketing side effect reports
• Handling of data from clinical trials
• Reviewing and performing quality control of documents
• Compiling documents
• Performing literature searches, evaluating and annotating papers
• Preparing presentations
• Printing and archiving
• Verifying data
• Performing quality checks of documents and presentations
• Assisting in various projects
• Ad hoc assignments and support
  
  

We are looking for a person with the following qualities:

• Strong analytical skills
• An eye for detail
• Used to working with the MS office package (word, Excel/Word/Power Point)
• Structured, with the ability to work independently, systematically and carefully
• Interested in optimisation of processes
• A self-starter with a high level of motivation
• Helpful and with a good sense of humour /a positive mindset and enjoy the idea of a supporting role where no task is trivial
• Fluent in English speech and writing / You can communicate well in both spoken and written Danish & English
• Eager to learn new things

It is a plus if your studies are within life sciences such as human biology, molecular biomedicine, pharmaceutical sciences and ideally have completed 2 years of the study.

Your working hours will be approximately 12 hours per week. During exams and project periods the working hours can be flexible. The position is placed at ALK’s Headquarter in Hørsholm and the job start date is as soon as possible.
