About the Opportunity

Join Sanofi Denmark as Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information Officer to perform Pharmacovigilance activities and handle Medical Information inquiries in Denmark.

In this role you will actively contribute to the Northern Europe Cluster Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information team and local organization via projects and day-to-day collaboration.

About growing with us

In this role you will be part of a team who….

  • Obtain and maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures and legal requirements regarding Pharmacovigilance (PV) and Medical Information (MI), as well as having a good knowledge of the PV and MI aspects of the company portfolio
  • Handle Individual Case Safety Reports according to local legislation and company Quality Documents (QDs)
  • Support the Country Safety Head in Denmark with local safety surveillance activities, safety issues, risk management activities, product alerts, social media/digital initiatives and market research programs throughout the affiliate
  • Provide relevant safety information to Health Authorities, internal stakeholders, and external parties in collaboration with global and local PV team
  • Handle Medical Information inquiries arising from Health Care Professionals, patients and other customers
  • Participate in process optimization and writing of local/multi country QDs according to corporate QDs and local legislation
  • Train colleagues and vendors in PV and MI relevant processes applicable for their function

About you

Qualifications/ Education & work experience

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or equivalent
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience or equivalent, preferably within pharmacovigilance or corresponding areas (not a must - newly graduated are welcome to apply).
  • Outstanding communication skills with an ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, patients and colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and execute on task accordingly
  • Awareness of need for accuracy
  • Oral and written fluency in Danish and English
