About the department

Oral Finished Products QC (OFP QC) employs approximately 60 highly skilled and motivated employees and have two missions; Analytical support to OFP production and production for launch and market and support to Manufacturing Development, which involves preparing for new oral products, and giving analytical support all the way to clinical phase 3. The department was established only 2 years ago and therefore, we are in an ongoing process of setting up and impacting working procedures.

The position

As Senior Analytical Professional you will be a part of one of the 4 highly dedicated teams in the department and be responsible for the analytical methods, their development, improvement and validation whilst securing innovation and compliance. Our goal is that the analytical methods is as front running as possible for the oral projects. The analytical methods cover solid dose formulation, dissolution analysis and chromatographic methods (HPLC/UPLC). You will be responsible for driving different method related improvements, problem-solving and deviations according to deadline while ensuring deliverance of high quality. In line with this, you will continuously ensure the optimal performance of the analyses and apply LEAN principles to trouble shoot and improve working procedures. You will communicate and coordinate with stakeholders internally as well as externally within various subject areas and collaborate with colleagues from formulation, process development and other QC areas in NN to reach the best results. Furthermore, you will be expected to act as a role model for new employees in your team, and to support your colleagues.

The different tasks could involve complex problem solving, being responsible for that the department’s analytical methods and equipment are living up to GMP compliance, drive the implementation of requirements, take active part in inspections and audits, and secure focus on business targets.

Qualifications

You have a Master’s degree in pharmacy or other similar life science educations, and have a solid background from a QC laboratory working in a GMP regulated environment. You have experience in approval of analytical test results, validation and standardization of analyses. Competences within tasks such as method validation, preparing, updating and reviewing instructions, Non-Conformity reports and Change Requests is desirable.
