Engineering QA manager

LEADER POSITION IN A GLOBAL R&D DEPARTMENT - OJ Electronics is looking for a leader of our QA and test team In addition to leading the QA & test team, you will also be responsible for the product design quality and the implementation of strategical QA (Quality Assurance) initiatives at OJ Electronics. QA and testing of new products and systems are key discipline in OJ’s innovative product development process. You have the necessary experience in this field, preferably from a similar role in a global R&D function. You are looking for a challenging management position that, in addition to the strong technical element, includes exciting leadership disciplines - in your own department and across the organisation.

Your tasks
You will be leading an experienced team that handles quality assurance and test in projects from the start of the project until running production. You will be one of the key persons in complex development projects carried out with project participants in Denmark and globally, and you will be a member of the R&D leader team. You will also be the project manager for relevant strategic initiatives such as improving design quality.

Your competencies
You have a relevant education, for example engineering, combined with proven track record of success within quality assurance. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic working environment with fast decision-making processes where the tone is informal but professional. Furthermore you:
• Have experience in relevant quality tools and models that you use in a structured approach
• Have QA experience in a traditional as well as agile environment
• Have very good leadership skills and are very good in coaching and motivating
• Are a very good communicator, at both the informal and formal levels We also expect good English language skills, both orally and written, and if you have a good command of Danish, this would be an advantage.
