Bonjour, Château de Fontager is a Danish, privately-owned castle with a rich history dating back to Roman times. We recently re-opened in July 2022 after 4 years of renovations and we offer 32 rooms, a restaurant with 60 seats, a terrace restaurant with 100 seats, an outdoor swimming pool, sauna, parc, meeting rooms, and event venues. We are located in one of the most famous wine areas in France, and we are just an hour's drive from the French capital of gastronomy, Lyon. We are committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of other languages is a plus. We are looking for adventurous people who want to try their hand at French culture and contribute to creating a cuisine worth traveling for, using the local food pantry and matching the impressive Rhône wine region. The area is teeming with local producers of fruit, vegetables, dairy products and much more. A French adventure in a château in the Rhône Valley an hour\'s drive south of Lyon in the middle of France's food mecca… You must be passionate about making a difference for our French and international guests, tourists in the summer and business people \/ meetings and groups in the winter.

You will work alongside some dedicated colleaques with fresh and local produces. You will get your hands on all processes and get to develop your skills in the fusion "cuisine Franco-Danoise" You will get a good insight in the hotel restaurant world from breakfast, events and highend gastronomy.
