Further development of Tandoori Masala
As head chef, it will be your task to continue and further develop the gastronomic profile with a high focus on sustainability and quality. You will be responsible for a dynamic and committed kitchen team and together with the rest of the management team you will play a central role in the continued development of the restaurant. The hotel is located in some beautiful surroundings that provide ample opportunity to think creatively in relation to the products we offer, which embrace meetings, conferences, a la carte, leisure and parties.
You will refer to the CEO, just as you will be part of the restaurant's management team, where you are expected to help set tomorrow's standard a little higher than yesterday - both in the restaurant and in the kitchen.
Tasks:
Development of the menu
Daily responsibility for and participation in the operation of the kitchen
Daily management and development of the department's employees
Preparation of action plans, strategies and workflows
Ongoing quality assurance and development of operations and processes in the department
Control of raw materials and finished goods
Ensure coordination of daily information to the rest of the house
Join the management team at the hotel and contribute across the organization
Contribute to setting both short- and long-term goals for the restaurant
Implementation and anchoring of established goals for the department
Ensure a high degree of well-being among employees
You achieve success in the job by ensuring a continuous high quality with a focus on quality, resource consumption and food waste, while you simultaneously develop our product and manage to motivate and develop your department. It is expected that you actively participate in the management team and contribute your knowledge both across the organization but also in the rest of the group.
Professionally strong and quality-conscious
We expect you to be a trained chef and have solid and documented experience as a manager. You have a great passion for high quality food and wine and you value good and fresh ingredients. In addition, it is a prerequisite that you think health, consideration for the environment and good taste go hand in hand.
You are outgoing and good at collaborating, both with your colleagues in the kitchen and the house's other staff. As we like to involve our guests in the journey from farm to fork, it is important that you thrive on being on and are good at communicating.
