Aamanns Etablissement is our cosy and contemporary Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant, where we serve our signature smørrebrød and classic Danish dishes for lunch - both with a modern twist adding new flavors and ideas with high focus on taste and quality ingredients.
Aamanns Etablissement is also a busy and buzzling workplace with a young and vibrant atmosphere and a small team of dedicated colleagues, who supports and help each other to deliver great service and a nice and fun day at work.
We are looking for a chef de partie, who thrive in giving our guests memorable experiences in close collaboration with the rest of the team in the restaurant.

We are looking for a chef, who can join us as soon as possible.
Your working hours will be during all weekdays and weekends. We are open for lunch from 12-17 seven days a week. A few weeks a year (e.g., during Christmas and Autumn holiday) we expect you to work evenings as well.
Salary will be in connection to your qualifications.

Aamanns was founded by chef Adam Aamann, who in 2006 opened our first smørrebrød restaurant and Take Away in Østerbro in Copenhagen. Back then and today, the starting point is quality smørrebrød based on the classic Danish lunch kitchen but in a new interpretation.
Today, Aamanns has several different places, all working with the same gastronomic set of values and transforming the high quality that we’re known for from our smørrebrød into other dishes.
The effort to revitalize and reinvent the smørrebrød has thrown much recognition our way. Both from the many happy regular guests, but also from reviewers, Danish as well as international. For example, the restaurants Aamanns Etablissement and Aamanns 1921 have been recommended in guide Michelin for many years. In 2019, we won the “smørrebrød of the year” award from Danish Food Critics.
Today Aamanns consists of the following outlets:
Aamanns Deli &Takeaway (since 2006)
Aamanns Etablissement, lunch restaurant (since 2009)
Aamanns CPH, a restaurant at Copenhagen Airport (since 2015)
Aamanns Frokostordning (since 2015)
Aamanns Køkken &Event, venue and canteen on Refshaleøen (since 2015)
Aamanns 1921, restaurant (since 2017)
Aamanns Broens Gadekøkken, our street food (since 2021)
Aamanns Replik at Skuespilhuset (2021)
Aamanns Botanical Senses (soap series and lotion)
Aamanns Kryddersnaps (snaps series in collaboration with Braunstein)

Our sustainability profile
Sustainability, animal welfare and organic produce play a key role across our businesses. In 2019 three of our units achived Det Økologiske Spisemærke in silver, meaning that 60-90 % of our produce in the kitchen is organic. We constantly work on sustainable solutions – e.g., food waste, separation of waste and packaging. Aamanns is also a part of” Bæredygtig Bundlinje” in cooperation with The City of Copenhagen, Danish Industry and Gate21 DI.

Who are we looking for?
- You are a chef with some experience – preferably from an a la carte restaurant.
- You have a passion for Danish smørrebrød and great and sustainable produce
- You have a structured approach to your work
- You can take on tasks and work independently, but you also know how to be a part of a team.
- You are a colleague who come into work with a smile and contribute to a nice working environment
- You can be both English and Danish speaking
