Drivhuset Kitchens, the Cloud Kitchen of Amager, Copenhagen, is launching its new pizza concept, DAVIDI. We are in search of a dedicated Head Pizza Chef to lead this venture. This role is not just about crafting pizzas; we seek a formidable leader to assume the responsibilities of Head Chef of Drivhuset, overseeing and inspiring staff across various concepts.

Who are you?

  • You boast profound knowledge and experience with Neapolitan Pizza.
  • Your background is enriched with bustling kitchen experiences, with a preference for those who've thrived in take-away and/or restaurant environments.
  • While you're known for strong human leadership skills, you're equally recognized for being results- and performance-oriented.
  • You possess a holistic perspective, a keen eye for detail, and an innate ability to remain calm during high-pressure situations. You never lose sight of the bigger picture.
  • At the heart of your culinary expertise lies an unmatched dedication to customer service and sales. You're adept at imparting these skills, mentoring both peers and subordinates.
  • Fluent English communication is second nature to you, and you're eager to embrace the Danish language.

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Design and periodically refresh a contemporary, enticing menu while maintaining a sustainable food cost.
  • Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations and management.
  • Establish an intuitive system within your concept's domain, ensuring it's effortlessly teachable to the direct employees you'll assist in recruiting.
  • Exemplify clear, motivating leadership. Foster high performance and nurture a secure, positive workspace for our associates. With your guidance, we aim to make Drivhuset an irresistible work haven.
  • Conduct daily product quality checks and regular performance evaluations, assessing both our offerings and team.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on expenses, including product costs, salaries, supplies, and equipment. Collaborate with the finance department in generating insightful reports and forecasts.
  • Actively participate in leadership discussions and developmental activities, ensuring seamless implementation of decisions, innovations, and process enhancements.
  • Uphold impeccable kitchen hygiene, aligning with both Danish Food Authority regulations and Drivhuset's uncompromising standards.
