Communication Manager - Germany

Welcome to the Communications Team
You will be a part of our new global communications unit with colleagues in Copenhagen, and local offices around the world. The communication team consists of 12 employees with different skills and duties. We work project-oriented on strategy and execution of all communication from PR, regulatory affairs, marketing, video production, local engagement, as well as internal communication.

Your new role

We are looking for a person with knowledge of the energy business and a broad understanding of political/regulatory affairs and communications who enjoys working with different partnerships and stakeholders. In the newly created position as Communication Manager – Germany, you will work directly from our newly established office in Postdam/Berlin and be responsible for supporting and advising the German team regarding regulatory affairs and communication.

Responsibilities

• To lead and manage regulatory affairs and strategic communication in European Energy Deutschland and possibly in one or more neighboring markets
• To monitor and push regulatory and political developments on different levels
• To develop and follow up communication strategies and plans
• To represent European Energy in business associations and networks with policymakers/decision-makers

Profile

• You have 5-7 years of relevant working experience, preferably from an international organization
• You have good knowledge of the energy business
• You are fluent in German and English
• You have a theoretical background in Political Science, Communication, or similar

As a person, you are curious and enjoy reaching out and creating partnerships and establishing close relationships, but you also enjoy diving deep into new legislation inside the energy sector.
