Internal Communications Manager

Do you see yourself as creative, collaborative and responsible? And do you have experience with communications? Then this is your opportunity to become the new Internal Communications Manager in our Communication team in Denmark and join a green company on its exciting journey.

European Energy is an international company that is experiencing exponential growth. We develop, build, and operate wind and solar parks as well as Power-to-X and energy storage projects in multiple countries. Consequently, we play a significant role in resolving climate issues by reducing the world’s CO2 emissions. We are more than 700 employees with 40+ different nationalities collaborating across 20 countries.

In 2023, we welcomed 280 new colleagues. As a result of the rapid growth and the increasing number of organisational development projects, we find it necessary to hire a full-time Internal Communications Manager to manage and support all these internal communications projects.

An energetic and rapidly growing communications team

You will be part of a growing and energetic Communications team consisting of 15 colleagues located in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, and Germany. Our working approach is project-oriented, and we handle everything from PR, regulatory affairs, marketing and branding, video production, SoMe, to internal communications tasks.

An exciting role managing internal communications tasks from A-Z

As our new Internal Communications Manager, you will be working strategically and tactically with the planning, execution, and implementation of new initiatives. You will for instance support ongoing initiatives as the implementation of our new business strategy, our ESG work streams and DEI related initiatives, but you will also have the full responsibility to develop existing formats within top management communication and corporate-wide talks.

You have a responsible, collaborative, and creative working approach

As a person, we seek someone who is ready to take the lead and who is not afraid to do the hard work. One thing is to devise important new ways of working, write policies, and guidelines -another thing is to ensure that these are implemented and adhered to through webinars, workshops, and similar. We need someone, who is ready to support European Energy on its exciting journey towards being a bigger and more professional organisation by leading the way through strong, engaging, and catchy internal communications initiatives.

Your tasks could include:

  • Develop and compile all internal communication in close collaboration with the rest of the communications team.
  • Manage, rewrite and distribute content for our internal communications channels (SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, live events, and Outlook).
  • Collaborate closely with HR and the top management but also other relevant departments.
  • Support communications initiatives at our internal events as our annual company trip, our weekly live events with the management or plan and execute corporate-wide talks etc.

Job prerequisites

  • You have 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • You have experience in executive and change management communications and/or internal communications.
  • You have a master’s degree in communication or similar.
  • It is beneficial if you have experience working with communications in a large organization (+200 employees) and/or a rapidly growing organisation.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You have experience with MS Office, SharePoint, Viva Engage, and Teams.
