On behalf of our customer APM Terminals, Randstad is looking for a new Nordic Communication Manager, who will play an important role in APM Terminals Nordics’ extensive transformation journey.
As Nordic Communication Manager, you will report directly to the Nordic Transformation Manager based in Sweden and be a part of the Nordic Communications and transformations team.
The primary focus will be within change management and internal communication where you will support in facilitating a smooth change process for a diverse group of stakeholders with varying needs. You will be the owner and driver of the communication agenda, which will support to achieve APM’s strategic goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
• Defining, developing, and executing communication strategies for the Nordic Terminals in general and also with Change Management in focus
• Producing and coordinating internal communication flows
• Supporting planned, upcoming transformation projects, e.g. within automation and digitalization
• Coaching and supporting your colleagues at all levels within the organization that need training and support to increase their own communication skills
We are looking for a senior communication manager who is used to running own projects with a focus on change management and internal communication. To become a success in this role, we envision that you have/are:
• A bachelor’s or higher degree in communication or similar with a focus on change and transformation processes
• At least 5 years of experience with change processes in a medium-sized or large company
• The ability to adapt to local cultural differences and to navigate between many stakeholders
• Experience from a blue-collar company or terminal operations is an advantage
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
Furthermore, you have a personality that inspires, motivates, and engages people at all levels. This is due to your positive attitude, open-mindedness, and your ability to break through barriers.
You are structured and equipped with strong analytical skills that makes you able to generate, evaluate and implement solutions independently. In combination with your high drive and your team spirit, you will contribute to delivering excellent results together with your team.
The journey of APM Terminals’ extensive and innovative 5-year modernization strategy has already begun. The role as Nordic Communication Manager is a newly created position, which means that you get the opportunity to shape the role yourself and to have a lot of influence regarding the processes in a big organization.
The learning curve is steep and even senior profiles will have a lot to learn. Here is an opportunity to acquire valuable knowledge and skills when it comes to driving implementation and change at a large company undergoing a transformation, where the end goal is to modernize and upgrade APM Terminals’ current operations as well as improving safety and business results.
