The position
As Content Strategy Lead, you will drive priority content investments, having the following key responsibilities:
Within this role, you’ll work across priority corporate agendas for Novo Nordisk including but not limited to social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and innovation. You’ll engage with subject matter experts at a global level and drive engagement and buy-in from affiliates across Novo Nordisk with whom we collaborate to drive trust in our brand.
In addition to shaping strategy, you’ll be expected to jump into new opportunities arising in our fast-evolving communication landscape – occasionally taking a hands-on approach to ensure sharp messaging and execution in our communication.
Qualifications
You have an advanced understanding of digital channel ecosystems – not least social media – and have a strong track record of leading content strategies that maximise channel opportunities. You have a strong grasp of communication and content strategy allied with a clear understanding of the value of the Novo Nordisk brand and its place in the world.

About the department
Content Strategy & Production (CS&P) is a team of communication and production specialists supporting the wider Global Communication department in Novo Nordisk. We develop creative, compelling content within key issues for society such as obesity and sustainability. Our ultimate ambition is for Novo Nordisk to be considered the most trusted brand in pharma.
We also drive the internal news function with channels catering to our global and Denmark-based audiences of more than 50,000 and 20,000 people respectively. We’re an open-minded, supportive, and collaborative team that knows we are stronger when we combine our collective brain power.
Based in Global Communication, you’ll work day-to-day with a diverse, wide range of colleagues highly skilled in various communication disciplines including social media, branding, media relations, and video production.

The position

- Shaping content strategy: Working with audience insights and trends to develop and evolve corporate content strategies for global audiences
- Building connections: Grow collaboration and buy-in across Novo Nordisk to drive reach and engagement with content within key agendas such as innovation and sustainability
- Optimise production: Oversee content production, advising stakeholders around messaging, formats and scheduling to ensure the best possible experience for our audiences

- University degree in communication or marketing
- 6 years’ experience working in communication and marketing – ideally with some experience of catering to broad, diverse global audiences
- Proven track of 3’ years working with digital campaigning, content strategy, and publishing
- Written English proficiency is essential – candidates with a passion for developing spot-on messaging will be preferred
