In Novo Nordisk’s Digital Accelerator, we are looking for an Intern with strong communication skills and a passion for technology, cultural transformation and change.
About the department
The Digital Accelerator is on a mission to accelerate the digital transformation in Novo Nordisk. Our key focus area is establishing, driving and supporting a range of semi-autonomous in-house development teams, called Digital Lighthouses. These teams work agile and represent a partnership between individual business areas and IT. They have a wide room for manoeuvrability in changing the status quo and working differently, while building high-impact solutions for Novo Nordisk. The Digital Accelerator was born to do just that - To change and improve the way we work, so that these teams can grow and develop world-class digital solutions for our colleagues and 29.000.000+ patients across the globe.
The aim is to inspire the wide Novo Nordisk organization and drive the digital transformation across the company. And hence, the other key endeavour is towards the wider organisation and includes lots of communication, analysis, stakeholder management and co-strategising.
About the job
You will be putting words into action by creating, executing and continuously improve the communication strategy for the area. This will include both internal communication within Global IT, the wider organization, as well as communication for external events, social media etc. Just as with our digital solutions, we aim to be innovative with our communication to be an inspiration to the company within this field as well.
You will be translating action back into words, as you will be telling compelling stories about the value, changes, new practices, and experiments done both in the Digital Accelerator and in the Digital Lighthouses we have established in the various business areas.
Lastly, you will help with various administrative ad hoc tasks. However, Digital Accelerator is a newly established, pragmatic and agile team with a low level of bureaucracy, where we all give a hand wherever needed. In fact, much of the transformation revolve around innovative approaches to heavy administrative burdens and processes. Few things are off the table and you will have plenty of opportunities to show initiative and bring your ideas to life.
We need a new colleague who embraces this freedom and is proactive in suggesting and pursuing new and better ways of doing things.
The internship can last from 4-6 months and your workplace will be in Bagsværd.
We will discuss the practicalities during the hiring process.
The start date will be in the fall of 2019, ideally in August or September.
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with strong communication skills across various channels, who has a curious mind and an innovative mind-set. Ideally, you have experience with creating and executing a successful communication strategy and a wide range of tasks within the communication space using different channels and tools. Similarly, previous exposure to corporate culture is a plus.
Your education and experience can be many, but could be relating to IT, management, communication, innovation or similar. However, your personality and mind-set are equally important. We expect you to have finished min. 2 years of your studies and fluency in English, both oral and written is a prerequisite.
