What you will do

Shoreline’s mission is to build deep partnerships with our customers in renewable energy; developing products around our intelligent simulation technology that help them solve their biggest problems. Our extensive industry domain knowledge and our unique technology enables our customers to gain valuable operational insight and predictability.

The support and documentation specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality written and visual user documentation that will contribute to the overall success of our customers and products along with supporting our customers day to day. This includes planning, managing, reporting, preparing and delivering training documentation as well as resolving and supporting customer questions. This role will collaborate closely with other departments and regional offices.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Analyse documentation needs and develop strategies to improve onboarding and engaging customers.
  • Update and maintain already existing written and visual documentation.
  • Develop new training materials based on functional specifications and customers’ needs
  • Prioritise your work based on what will engage users the most.
  • Manage product announcements from feature releases or changes in the software
  • Collaborate with product managers, customers, and the commercial team to create documentation
  • Deliver first line support to the internal team and Shoreline customers via phone, chat, and email and participate in the support rotation schedule
  • Analyse technical issues reported by customer to define root cause and escalate
  • Educate customers and internal users on Shoreline products
  • Define needs, trends and issues to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Conduct training in the form of webinars and in-person trainings

Who you are

  • Experience within a similar position preferably from the renewable energy industry
  • Strong communication, planning and time management skills
  • Focus on quality
  • Detailed-oriented
  • Experience with document control is required
  • You are positive and flexible to changes as this is a must for success in Shoreline
  • You are customer focused and are able to understand their needs
  • High level of English both written and spoken is a requirement, and an additional European language skills is an advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree in English, business, IT, information management, or related field
  • SaaS experience is nice to have
  • Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
