Summary
As Marketing Manager for the new category, you’ll be responsible for developing, monitoring and executing strategic marketing plans to drive awareness, engagement and sales across the EUB markets. The Marketing Manager will be supporting the EUB Head of Business Development, New Category to build the EUB business case, define the EUB Oral pouches omnichannel marketing strategy, including portfolio strategy, consumer and market segmentation, and oversee deployment across the countries.
STG’s ambition to enter a new category requires the development of omnichannel EUB consumer journey, with adequate supporting EUB marketing programs, media and portfolio plans, working in partnership with the Brand Owner and Commercial Excellence (ComEX) teams to receive support for the 3 brands, XQS, Ström and !Act .
The role will be responsible for developing the customer path to purchase; specifically, driving brand awareness, consideration, trial through to consumer acquisition, purchase, and overall customer retention. You’ll analyze data, track performance metrics, and adjust campaigns accordingly, while staying ahead of the industry trends to ensure the category’s competitive edge. You’ll have a track record of success, understanding and background in conventional retail channels and experience as well with online selling through the pure players.
What can you expect as a Marketing Manager at Scandinavian Tobacco Group?
The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Brand Owner of the NGP category to generate Brand Book and Global assets relevant to the EUB Region and will set trade and consumer EUB omnichannel plans, to support local marketing deployment, activation and brands performance tracking. You will also collaborate closely with the Digital Manager on the omnichannel strategy.This role must possess strong organizational and planning skills. You must have significant omnichannel experience and be consumer and brand performance driven:
· Develop the strategic EUB omni-channel plans to build brand awareness, trial and market share growth, collaborating closely with the Digital Manager to integrate and activate the digital strategy to deliver omnichannel performance.
· Manage and lead new category brand deployment plans across EUB, of 3 white pouches, XQS, Ström and !Act with regards to portfolio, consumer and market segments, promotional guidance, trade marketing and distribution.
· Provide feedback to the brand owner to support brand and new product development. Our culture is an entrepreneurial one, and we continually test and learn to drive growth.
· Coordinate with the brand owner team members, procurement, supply chain, country marketing and finance on daily responsibilities.
· Collaborate with the ComEX team for building, planning and executing dynamic and effective EUB retail marketing programs.
· Work closely with the Ecom Manager to review full channel mix and consumer purchase journey.
· Monitor and analyze campaigns, ensuring all deadlines are met and performance meets expectations.
· Manage complex processes and create reports to accurately communicate progress of your initiatives as demonstrated in previous roles.
· Keeps up to date with technology trends that help enable marketing efforts and overall consumer experience.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise (that matter the most for this role):
· Bachelor's degree in marketing.
· 8 + years of experience in omnichannel marketing with brand building, portfolio campaign planning and execution responsibilities.
· Demonstrated ability to successfully transform or launch consumer brands.
· Must be able to prepare and present information and insights to executives.
· You have an entrepreneurial mindset.
· A self-starter with proven ability to take initiative, define what needs to get done and multi-task.
· Ability to think creatively and build challenger brands in new markets.
· Strong written and oral communication skills, and an eye for all things creative.
