About the area
In Strategic Development we work in close collaboration with relevant functional areas and a key focus to develop impactful communication. We are responsible for driving leadership communication and internal and external communication about strategic projects, business priorities and milestones with the aim of creating motivation and engagement among our colleagues, both for the Devices & Delivery Solutions organisation and also broader across Novo Nordisk.

The communication function in Devices & Delivery Solutions is part of the Strategic Development area but is working closely with other staff functions across the Development organisation and Corporate Communications. The communication function is currently comprised of our SVP Communication Partner, and together with the candidate for this position will constitute a small and focused communication team with complementary capabilities.

The position
You will be part of a small and agile communication team in which you will be responsible for delivering on everyday communication with short deadlines, as well as being responsible for developing and implementing larger strategic internal communication initiatives and events.

You think and act as a strong coordinator and at the same time, you also find energy in preparing key messages and delivering competent and creative content for our internal platforms, such as articles, video updates and Yammer posts.

You will have the opportunity to shape the content of your job by being proactive, creative, hungry for more and keeping a finger on the pulse of the organisation and the communication profession. The job will offer frequent senior management interaction and engagements across the organisation, allowing you to build a strong network, while further strengthening your communication and project management skills.

You will report to the Vice President and Head of Strategic Development and work closely together with the SVP Communication Partner. As a communication professional you will also be part of the Novo Nordisk Global Communicators’ Network and other informal networks.

Qualifications
• You hold an education from a relevant field combined with minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry
• You are structured and ambitious on behalf of the communication profession
• You have an independent and result-oriented way of working and you approach tasks with a positive attitude
• You have been responsible for driving strategic communication projects yourself and experience in event management will also be considered a plus
• You know the Office 365 features by heart (including SharePoint, Yammer, Teams), and you master creating both text and appealing visuals such as videos and articles that catch the interest of the audience
• It will be a plus if you are gifted with abilities to work with new communication formats such as content for social media formats, video editing and other digital formats
• Capabilities within graphical design will be an upside

You speak and write English fluently.
