We are looking for a motivated, organized and creative student assistant with a passion for Marketing and Social Media to join our dynamic and performance-driven team.
Growth is the Corporate Venture Capital unit of Maersk, and we build, partner and invest in start-ups where we have a strategic right to play and can add significant non-cash value. Our mission is to build the future of trade.
We strive to leverage the experience and breadth of Maersk’s global reach with the agility and innovation of start-ups; starting small and failing fast.
Working with us, you will get an early insight into an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment, while working with strategic future topics for Maersk.
As our new team member, you will become part of the Value Creation Team and own many of our external- and internal-facing communication and marketing. Select key responsibilities include:
• Be responsible for our Social Media channels and support us in creating engaging content for our followers
• Measure and analyze our Social Media and news coverage performance and use it to derive actionable insights
• Support creation of blog posts, press releases, newsletters, podcasts, campaigns to help us reach our internal and external audiences
• Support the planning, marketing and execution of in- and external events like fireside chats, workshops and trainings
• Manage our complete online presence, including webpage and affiliate websites
Preferably, you have just started your Master’s in Business, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or similar.
Furthermore, you have:
• A solid understanding of Social Media and community management – Expressions like reach or engagement aren’t new concepts to you
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. You truly enjoy writing and are a convincing story teller
• Outstanding organization skills, a structured way of working and a strong attention to detail
• A personal drive to go the extra-mile to deliver high-quality results and meet ambitious deadlines
• The ability to think on your feet and work independently, while being a true team player and helping-out others when needed
• The flexibility to support us for approx. 15-20 hours per week, ideally on full days
