Key responsibilities
We are looking for a student assistant that can help us structure and facilitate the execution of our internal communication on all things decarbonisation.
You will be working across the entire team of ~50 professionals and assist them in turning the information we need to go out to our stakeholders into good communication.
Key tasks:
• Take charge of developing a communication plan for Maersk Decarbonisation internal communication
• Assist in setting up the best communication channels and media for the appropriate message purposes
• Engage with the team to collect content for communication/ information and review same for effectiveness in delivering the desired message
• Act as moderator on defined communication channels ensuring that activity is monitored and ensuring our stakeholders get answers to questions
• Opportunities to engage with and work across all Maersk Decarb teams on a variety of initiatives.
We are looking for
You are keen to try out your skills in practice and you are motivated by the challenge of turning technical information and facts into information and knowledge for the average Maersk stakeholder. You need to have good communication and presentation skills in English
What we are looking for:
• Bachelor or similar degree within Media, Communication and Information studies and likely pursuing a Masters degree
• Possibly a minor or similar within sustainability studies
• Interested in communication across multiple media – social media as well as more formal
• Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
• Outgoing personality and keen to collaborate closely with varied types of stakeholders
• Prior experience working with climate change and/or decarbonisation areas is an advantage and not a pre-requisite.
• Inquisitive and keen on learning and understanding complex subjects.
