Key Task:

You will be responsible for managing our OneMaersk sharepoint frontpage and ensuring the quality, impact, and relevance of global internal content across our internal news channels (Sharepoint, Viva Engage). In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of delivering on our OneMaersk strategy and maintaining the overall quality and coherence of the Internal Maersk Global News and Announcements.
  • Uphold standards for internal messaging, ensuring a consistent tone, clarity, and voice.
  • Support content planning on our common newsroom calendar, conduct pitch/brainstorm meetings, and assign co-owners for content aligned with the strategic priorities.
  • Facilitate collaboration with stakeholders: Work with Leadership Communication Advisors and other stakeholders to curate and co-create content.
  • Drive content creation, including writing and publishing articles, briefing in visual assets, and collaborating with wider teams.
  • Review various communications materials, gathering and integrating employee and stakeholder feedback.
  • Leverage data to track and report communication effectiveness.
  • Lead training and development: Stay up to date on Microsoft releases, conduct training, optimize layout, etc.
  • Demonstrate meticulous proofreading and adherence to editorial standards.
  • Ability to work creatively within a fast-paced environment and prioritise accordingly.

Your Profile:

To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate the ability to manage global communications channels catering to large, diverse audiences, while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and content pipelines. You are passionate about employee engagement and serve as a trusted advocate for our people ranging from interns to executives.

Key qualifications include:

  • Excellent communication skills with strong interpersonal diplomacy, enabling you to coach, advise, and assist our communications community in enhancing their storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex themes into clear and accessible content.
  • Strong copywriting expertise and adept writing skills in English. Tasks will include writing articles, headlines, editing, executive summaries, and presentation materials.
  • Understanding of digital, data and UX principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Ability to manage the day-to-day operations of our internal communication channels.
  • Experience in projects measuring performance and leveraging data to drive improvements.
  • A genuine passionate for storytelling and hands-on, proactive approach.
  • Displays the highest level of professionalism when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Native English fluency, both spoken and written is mandatory, given that all material on the global channel is in English.
  • Minimum requirement 3+ years of experience in editorial, digital communications, content strategy, journalism, or related fields.
  • A bonus is strong editing skills in traditional and new media formats such as videos and podcasts.
