Wunderman Thompson Studios Copenhagen is currently looking for a Copywriter with concepting and scriptwriting experience. If you are part of a creative team, we are also open to receiving applications from you and your partner.
The Role:
As a Copywriter, you will be writing clear and compelling texts for ads and marketing materials based on client briefs. You have a fundamental interest in literature and a passion for conveying stories in writing.
You will introduce original and innovative creative solutions based on market trends and strategy insights. You will create strong copy, compelling presentations and apply strong storytelling tactics that amplify the idea or project in a fresh way.
You will have a clear understanding of your clients’ businesses and what challenges they face to offer creative solutions through engaging content.
You will be expected to work independently on your projects and clients with minimal supervision. You will report to our Associate Creative Director of Copy and be a part of our Copywriting team. You will work closely with relevant Project Managers, and, on some projects, an Art Director counterpart. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an eye for detail. If you can grasp project requirements quickly and offer valuable insight, we’d like to meet you.

Your Opportunities.
- Take ownership of copy briefs and answer them to a high standard.
- Collaborate with creative team members to develop compelling creative across social, digital, video and print – seeing a project through to final production.
- Translate client briefs into attractive copy with a distinctive voice.
- Check copy generated by team members and offer feedback when necessary.
- Build proposals that solve client objectives through storytelling.
- Manage multiple projects at once and deliver within the deadline.
- Pitch projects with confidence to colleagues in a concise and inspirational manner.
Your Qualifications:
- A background and/or education in communications, copywriting, or professional writing.
- Experience writing compelling and concise marketing materials.
- Experience in an advertising or creative agency is an advantage but not a requirement.
- You have an excellent command of the English language.
- Familiarity with creative processes and techniques.
- Strong team player, who likes to engage in creative brainstorming and support team members.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Interest in building your presentational skills.
