Global ESG and sustainability communications advisor

Join our Brand, Marketing and External Relations unit as our new advisor and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.</p><p><strong>Your new role</strong></p><p>The Global ESG and sustainability communications advisor will position Ramboll as a sustainability leader in the professional services industry, with consistent, credible, and transparent communication of environmental, social, and governance impacts. A major deliverable is the company Annual Report. You will also help develop our corporate strategic narratives to ensure they credibly reflect Ramboll’s sustainability leadership.</p><p>Your key responsibilities will be:</p><ul><li>Ensure a strategic approach to sustainability communication aligned with company goals and ambitions</li><li>Work closely with our sustainability, finance, human resources, and main business units, to communicate our sustainability agenda in simple, impactful, and decision-useful ways</li><li>Principal editor of the Ramboll Annual Report, hereunder:<ul><li>Define and drive the editorial process for the full report cycle;</li><li>Anchor prioritised meetings with executive-level owners of the report, as well as with subject matter experts and report implementation teams</li><li>Develop the key narrative and be the principal writer of the report’s content</li><li>Responsible for end-to-end delivery of the report in digital and print versions; and for distribution of the report on external and internal platforms.</li></ul></li><li>Trusted advisor on corporate sustainability communications, helping support company executives and thought leaders with speeches, and presentations for external audiences</li><li>Track and measure impact of sustainability communications projects and assets</li></ul><p><strong>Your new team</strong></p><p>You will be part of the Brand, Marketing and External Relations unit.</p><p>You will join the Brand, Marketing, and External Relations team that is responsible for developing and driving Ramboll’s position and unique content towards prioritised external audiences, in line with our strategy, The partner for Sustainable Change. We are a centre of excellence for communications teams in Ramboll’s business units, helping drive efficiencies, scale, and high quality, and a vital part of our company thought leadership programme targeting clients, partners, and sustainability professionals.</p><p><strong>About you </strong></p><p>From the moment you start at Ramboll, we will support your personal and professional development so that you can continue to grow with the company. Whilst we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development, for this role we have identified some qualifications, skills, and capabilities that will set you up for success.</p><p>These include:</p><ul><li>7+ years’ experience as a communications professional from listed/non-listed companies, or as a journalist in established media or PR agencies</li><li>Proven experience in developing annual reports and communication on corporate sustainability issues for listed/non-listed companies</li><li>A skilled, detail-oriented writer adept at transforming complex information into inspiring stories, and at ease working with numbers and data</li><li>Deep knowledge of corporate annual reporting practices incl. ESG reporting trends, regulations, and policies</li><li>Knowledgeable in the main climate and sustainability agendas of relevance to large companies e.g. energy, biodiversity, and the built environment</li><li>Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
