Are you passionate about digital platforms and communications?
Xellia Pharmaceuticals is looking for a creative, detailed-oriented Digital Communications Specialist to join the Corporate Communications and Branding department. The Corporate Communications and Branding department is responsible for overseeing, aligning and executing Xellia’s visual identity globally, external communications and internal communications activities in partnership with our sites globally and various departments across the organization to ensure communication objectives, corporate brand guidelines and visual identity alignment are met.
We are looking for a dedicated team member who can join our small and mighty department of 2 people, to support in maintaining our existing communications platforms, and in creating and executing digital communications tasks. The person we are looking for should be full of energy, have a flexible nature, be ready to support and work on tasks of both minimal nature and of high profile. Most importantly, we are looking for a person who is committed to seeing communications tasks through from start to finish with a sharp eye for detail.
About the job
As our new Digital Communications Specialist, you will:
- Have primary focus on working on maintaining our digital communications platforms – Xellia.com and Xellia Inside (intranet)
- Article writer for the intranet - offer assistance to other departments and sites to develop intranet articles and develop their portals and intranet content
- We expect you to have an eye for detail and to be able to catch both design errors and content errors – and consequently be independently proactive in updating content
- Be willing to work methodically through the two communications platforms and come up with ideas on how pages and content can be improved and optimized
- Support in organizational tasks – such as picture organization, naming and sorting
- Helping with strategic projects to advance the development of the intranet – i.e. conversion to mobile app
- Developing internal video communication
- Monitoring analytics
- Monitoring comments and responding
- Support and execute other ad hoc internal communications activities
- Partnering with departments at our sites globally to align on communications activities, with the aim to optimize and make the activities we initiate globally coherent
- Support in ad hoc external communications planning and execution
- Be a key speaker for Xellia’s brand identity and visual identity
Your profile and skills
The ideal candidate:
Holds an academic degree within e.g. Communications, Journalism/Media, Digital Design
- Has 0+ years of experience in working with digital communications from an international environment and/or with a multi-cultural team.
- Understands communication processes and why brand design guidelines are so important for an organization
- Has excellent English skills – both verbally and in writing
- Has strong service skills and a willingness to help – we are a partner to the organization
- Has the ability to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment and handle multiple tasks at same time
- Is highly accountable, detail-oriented, positive and has a proactive nature
- Can thrive when working on projects independently
- Has an interest in learning to master programs such as Neo Dashboard, Sitecore and Dreambroker – all which are critical to be able to perform your job (training will be provided)
- Has excellent PowerPoint skills required and preferably InDesign knowledge
