We are looking for a detailed-oriented strong communicator as our new Student Assistant to support our Corporate Communications and Branding Department and the variety of tasks that enter the department on a daily basis.

The Corporate Communications and Branding department is responsible for Xellia's Corporate Internal and External Communication planning as well as Corporate Visual Identity.
The members of the department are involved in a range of business areas - working across departments and locations to ensure visual identity alignment, correct use of the Xellia brand and a coherent communication style.

The department is the Company’s go-to resource for alignment of all material which is to represent the corporate brand internally and externally, as well as the portal for corporate communication resources and development.
You will become part of a small yet dynamic team, where we work very closely together on all tasks coming in. We are looking for a colleague who is passionate about making an impact in the business and in the department!

The variety of tasks which await you

  • Developing internal communication films using our in-house software
  • Working on intranet-related tasks; working with departments to keep content up to date
  • Helping develop newsletters for departments; including proof-reading tasks
  • Working on our content management systems keeping our brand assets up to date
  • Working on the design and content flow in powerpoint presentations
  • Working with various departments on ad hoc corporate branding and communications activities

Additionally, there will be plenty of other ad-hoc assignments depending on our business needs and your interests – all which can range from internal and external communication to visual identity implementation. Your expected work commitment will be 10-20 hours per week - we are flexible in relation to your studies and you exam period!

You have the following skills

  • You are very structured, very detail-oriented, design-keen and are creative.
  • You have a professional, service-oriented and dedicated approach to everything that you do, and you enjoy a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills.
  • You enjoy creative writing.
  • You have a flair for making powerpoint presentations and really enjoy it too!
  • You are curious about making films and are a quick learner when it comes to new software tools.
  • We expect that you work well both independently and in teams, and that you are able to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
  • You enjoy working with administrative tasks.

Your background

  • You are in the last two years of your educational degree - Either beginning your master’s or entering your last year of your degree in a related study/field.
  • You have a very sharp eye for detail.
  • You are excellent in PowerPoint, and generally speaking you are a Microsoft Office superuser.
  • You have interest in, and experience with, tasks related to communication and design.
  • You are perfectly fluent in both written and verbal English.
  • You are fluent in another language is a plus; especially if it is in Danish or Hungarian.
