About the department
This is an exciting opportunity to join an international, high performing team in Køge, Denmark. You will work within the sales & marketing department, and in close collaboration with the sales team and business development organization you will ensure that we establish the correct marketing strategy and planning for our existing and new products in the market. From our site in Denmark we distribute and sell our products globally and we have a strong pipeline of new products waiting to be launched in the near future.
We’re looking for a flexible and versatile marketer who will be responsible for the growth of our inbound sales channels. To be successful in this role, you find challenges and "multitasking" a natural part of an exciting work environment and at the same time being very structured and organized. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
The position
You will be responsible for overall company branding, corporate visual identity and the product branding. The Marketing Manager responsibilities include tracking and analyzing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing an annual marketing strategy and tactical plan to meet agreed company objectives in close collaboration with product management and sales and to control all marketing, advertising and promotional activities. We are in the process of launching a new CRM platform Salesforce.com and the Marketing Manager is in charge of the implementation together with support from external partners. There is an increased focus on digitalisation throughout the company and social media management (e.g. LinkedIn) will play a key role on that journey.
Part of the job is it to conduct market research together with Product Manager to identify market requirements for current and future products and to evaluate customer research, market conditions, competitor data and implement marketing plan alterations as needed. The Marketing Manager is also responsible for project planning and execution of all exhibitions, conferences and events worldwide together with lead generation through different touchpoints. A key element is to develop messaging, positioning and content that communicates the differentiated value, including posters, whitepapers, webinars, website and adverts in collaboration with agencies and product management. The role also includes to prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly basis, allocate funds wisely and manage interns and/or other marketing employees.
Marketing Manager Job Requirements and Qualifications:
Batchelor or master’s degree in marketing and min. 3-5 years of previous experience as a marketing manager or related marketing experience in an international setup preferable within the pharmaceutical industry. Proficient computer skills and solid understanding of effective marketing strategies, materials, and channels. Good presentation and communication skills as well as strong leadership, planning, and execution skills. Excellent English written and verbal. Knowledge and understanding of SEM and SEO. Experience with CMS Wordpress platform is an advantage. Experience with CRM Salesforce is an advantage as well as experience with launching new products.
