You will be in charge of the communication strategy and daily communication activities for our Danish Business Line, which consists of approx. 2,550 employees. In addition, you will lead our efforts to further improve the COWI Group’s communication with markets and customers, locally and globally.
You will be working closely together with the Danish management team; with Market Directors from across the Group; and with the managers for Danish and global media relations; internal communication; employer branding; and the rest of the communications team.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for:
- Developing, leading the execution of, and measuring the effects of COWI's communication strategy for the Danish business.
- Analysing market and customers data to develop even more effective concepts, training material and specific communication material.
- Acting as trusted adviser to business line management.
- Writing and editing compelling speeches, articles, briefs, and SoMe posts.
- Contributing to the development and execution of COWI's overall communication; ensuring alignment and cooperating closely with the rest of the Group Communication team.

Furthermore, you should:
- Hold a degree in communication, journalism or other relevant field of study
- Have more than 5 years of experience preferably from another international company or agency
- Be experienced in engaging colleagues and leading projects and initiatives across functions and borders.
- Have a profound understanding of markets, business dynamics, employee engagement, and leadership communication
- Be able to grasp business strategy and concepts and translate them into concrete briefs, presentations, articles and SoMe posts
- Be fluent in Danish and have excellent English skills.
