Job Description
Danfoss Cooling is looking for a Strategic Communications Manager. As Manager for Cooling, you will be responsible for the global communication strategy, translating and communicating business strategies to more than 6.000 employees and external communication. You will be working with positioning Danfoss Cooling as an innovative thought leader externally and ensuring that our Cooling leaders are well-equipped to successfully communicate internal and external.
As a hands-on person and communication expert, you will enable your small team of communication advisors to encourage proactive communication and represent Danfoss Cooling through innovative and traditional channels to broaden knowledge to the employees across Danfoss.
If you desire to be part of shaping innovative energy efficiency solutions and communicate it to a global audience, this position is for you. You will lead an energetic strategic communications team that support leadership communication, change management, thought leadership as well as public affairs. You will be responsible for:
Background and skills
Your relevant educational background is preferably at a Master level and you have strong skills across the many disciplines within professional business communication. You have a proven track record of 6-10 years, ideally in a global organization combined with experience from a communication agency giving you the business acumen to advise senior leaders. Experience from within the fields of sustainability and public affairs, and work with international organizations are a plus.
Your extraordinary drive and energy allow you to be proactive and stay ahead of the curve. You are a team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. You think strategically and are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and create tactical communication materials. You act in the role as a trusted advisor, by being a good listener and asking the right questions, you enable communications solutions and problem solving.

- Ensuring the continued development of the strategic communication function in close collaboration with business strategy
- Leading high quality internal and external communication across channels supporting employer branding and talent attraction
- Aligning and coordinating strategic communication such as leadership communication, public affairs and public relation across the organization, including setting strategies, prepare and execute activities as well as shaping our communication among key target groups
- Developing leaders’ communication skills through training and coaching activities, change management, and various critical communication issues
- Developing speeches, presentations, press releases, supporting roll-out of management processes, surveys, campaigns and applying strategic writing skills across our internal and external channels (articles, blogs, social media)
- Ensuring Danfoss Cooling’s position as thought leader within the industry and securing communication of industry trends and technology communication
- Collaboration with the Danfoss Cooling leadership team and their business lines in addition to HR, business development and strategy, and marketing, Group Communication and Industry & Public Affairs
