Umbraco, a fast growing tech company, is looking for a talented and experienced Head of Communication to lead our communications team and drive our external and internal communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications, media relations, and content development, with a proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be a central part of COMA (our Communication and Marketing team), a team of 10 working across Communication, Marketing and Events. The atmosphere is informal and fosters creativity and collaboration. You can expect an international work environment, friendly and bright colleagues and opportunities for both personal and professional development. You will be working on-site at either our Copenhagen og Odense office in Denmark.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to enhance brand awareness, reputation, and engagement
- Lead the creation of compelling messaging and content for various channels, including press releases, website content, email. social media, and internal communications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communication efforts
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, and industry influencers to secure positive press coverage and thought leadership opportunities
- Oversee the organization's public relations efforts, building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other external partners
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on communication matters, including crisis communication and reputation management
- Manage and mentor a team of communications professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
- Monitor and analyze communication metrics to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and adjust strategies as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in communication and incorporate them into the organization's communication strategies
- Manage crisis communication efforts as needed

Besides your awesome personality we are looking for someone with:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in communication, public relations, marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in communication or public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferably in the technology industry
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for various audiences and channels
- Experience managing and mentoring a team of communications professionals
- Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Practicalities The position:
- Full-time position of 37 hours/week
