The company has approximately 160 employees distributed across six countries. It is owned by VikingDanmark in Denmark (50%), FABA in Finland (25%), and Växa in Sweden (25%). VikingGenetics additionally has daughter companies in Australia, England, and Germany, and it exports to more than 50 countries.The company is a data-driven organisation, and it uses data to describe and communicate the value of its product. The marketing department consists of a team of six devoted employees, and its overall goal is to drive activities that support the company’s commercial goals and protect and develop its brand. The mission is to connect the farmers with the brand, to drive business results by blending creativity and insights with automation, customer insights, and behavior marketing. To further strengthen the company’s international content communication, we are currently seeking a competent Content Writer
International marketing – Content creation – Social media and websites Are you experienced in writing high-quality content for newsletters, social media, and websites, and do you want to make a valuable contribution to the communication strategy in a professional and dedicated company? As a Content Writer at VikingGenetics, you will get an exciting and international position with opportunities for both professional and personal development, and you will be joining a successful, positive, and ambitious team. You will enter a versatile and innovative role in the international marketing team, where you will refer to the Global Marketing Manager. Here you will be responsible for writing and editing the company’s communication in different stages of the sales funnel e.g., SEO website content, e-mails, articles, webinars, podcasts, social media, brochures etc., while ensuring an all-around consistency in style and tone. Additionally, you will get the task of evolving and optimising the website to drive traffic there by creating relevant content for the readers, while driving engagement, lead generation, and conversations. You will also be responsible for gaining an understanding of the customer journey and behaviour design to find content opportunities, and you will be working closely with the marketing and sales team to create case stories, testimonials, interviews, event content etc. Furthermore, you will handle the PR execution as well as the cooperation with the press and other partners. In continuation hereof, you will ensure mapping of the targeted media in the company’s markets, while you stay on top of new and relevant editorial and publishing platforms. As part of this process, you will also do continuous maintenance of press in the company’s CRM system. To be a qualified candidate for the role, you must have a university degree in communication, journalism, or marketing (a bachelor’s degree as a minimum), and you must have several years of experience working in communication and content writing - preferably in a marketing department at an international company. Moreover, you are expected to have excellent English skills, since you will be cooperating with external partners and creating international content targeted readers all around the world. At a personal level, you are characterised by your structured and detail-oriented nature as well as your ability to produce useful and engaging content that delights. You have an analytic and cooperative mindset, and you thrive in an ambitious work environment. You are also energetic, passionate, and independent, and you have a strong sense of quality in all that you do.
