You drive epics to decision and help to the realization of the benefits
To strengthen our customer collaboration and ability to implement, BEC is looking for a determined epic owner responsible for identifying, analyzing, and driving the decision-making process. This will be followed by working with BEC’s Agile Release Trains (ART) to initiate development activities necessary to realize the benefits. You will work on portfolio (program) level in the financial industry, which means financial business stakeholder management is a key part of the role. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance is currently a high priority task at BEC and you will work in this area initially. The role requires you to work with other financial business areas than AML, and you shall expect a strong learning curve, and you must be comfortable in a political- and regulatory environment. For the right candidate this will be an opportunity for development and to influence IT development for some of Denmark’s largest financial institutions.

As a person you are good at liaising with all your stakeholders both inside and outside of the organization. You are a strong communicator and your presentation skills are at a high level making it easy for you to collaborate at all levels. You deliver results and meet expectations as you are good at initiating and thinking business oriented by transforming business needs into a technical delivery. Additionally, you easily comply and react efficiently to changes.

You will get 20 colleagues who have different kind of backgrounds as epic owners, software developers, business consultants, and scrum masters. You will be part of a diverse department both in people, competences, and tasks. - Obtaining business requirements and follow-up on portfolio level
- Coordinating, clarifying, and follow up as a connector between customer and ART’s
- Securing a decision (go-no go) for the epics
- Reporting and responsible for the finances of the epics
- Coordinating of definition of done/definition of ready (DoD/DoR) across team deliveries
Your profile
As a person you are good at liaising with all your stakeholders both inside and outside of the organization. You are a strong communicator and your presentation skills are at a high level making it easy for you to collaborate at all levels. You deliver results and meet expectations as you are good at initiating and thinking business oriented by transforming business needs into a technical delivery. Additionally, you easily comply and react efficiently to changes.
Ideally you:
- Have experience within the financial sector
- Have minimum 3-5 years of experience working on program/management level
- Hold a certification in an agile framework preferably in SAFe
- Are fluent in English and Danish both in writing and verbal
- Have a good understanding of the business within the financial sector
